A Rexist/Walloon Eastern Front Volunteer’s Prototype Sleeve Insignia Hold A Schwarzburg Sondershausen War MeritConstructed of white wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered carmine Burgundy Cross, situated within a border of identical colour, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), demonstrating minor soiling to the white wool base, a scarce insignia in near extremely fine condition. Footnote: While references to this insignia exist in reference guides produced by both John R. Angolia and David Littlejohn, their exact purpose is unknown, and it is
